Sometimes, we're faced with choices that constitute major change in our lives. Sometimes, events beyond our control necessitate change. Either way, the ensuing experience is so profound that we are forever altered.
For the ego, this change feels like death - and it will put up a tremendous fight to keep things the way they were, or to recreate familiarity. However, in this case, trying to bring back what was comfortable and felt safe usually leads to making the current circumstances much worse. |

Most people have excellent intuition. The challenge arises when they
are called upon to trust it and heed its guidance - even when it means
moving to the other side of the country.
Here I was, living in
Ontario, with a thriving practice as an intuitive and as a yoga
instructor, when I began at the start of the year to sense that I was no
longer where I belonged. It started with feeling displaced, as though
the town I had been calling home since the mid-90's no longer felt that
way. People continued to be friendly and welcoming, and indeed, there
was no end of work for me. |

Moving is an adventure. If you're like me, you want to make your nest your own as soon as you get there.
Arriving at my destination, I promptly set out to clean house, unpack boxes and create a space in which I could be happy.
Making a new home situation work for me means thinking outside the box. So, the room traditionally meant to be the living room became my spacious bedroom, while the bedroom became an office large enough to allow space for my yoga practice.
It took some ingenuity to turn the tiny kitchen into the perfect place to cook, but it is that now. |

To serve you better, I will be moving to downtown Kingston tomorrow! My services will be available at three locations - two in Kingston and one in Bath, ON.
I also make house calls to local residents who book me for an hour or more.
I'm excited about my move and am looking forward to seeing you!
I'll be back to blogging soon. Stay tuned!
