Have you ever thought about what happens when you exchange
a hug with someone? Energy passes between both of you, and whether that
feels good or not is dependent on the direction of that flow of energy
and its intent.
You can turn a hug into a healing experience
by consciously bringing in universal love and tuning in to the feelings
of the person you are hugging.
Before you hug, imagine
standing in a column of light, bathed in divine, universal love. This
process connects you to the highest vibrational frequency. |

Another must-see video. This is the second TED talk given by Brene Brown as a follow-up to her first talk, "The Power of Vulnerability", also available at my blog.

Recently, I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying two really useful books from Sounds True. The Intimate Life adds a new dimension to human interaction. Through a series of exercises, the author Judith Blackstone, PhD, leads readers deeper into a relationship with themselves and others by bringing to awareness the fact that we resonate at various frequencies within ourselves and with each other. This book reflects what many intuitives like myself know to be part of the evolutionary process happening at this time. |

It was March 2011 when I stepped on the scales and realized with a sinking feeling that I was putting weight on I had successfully kept off for two years.
When I turned 45, I decided to drop the 30 extra pounds my frame was carrying. Using an exercise and diet program, I went from a size 10 to a size 4 in 5 months.
With the long, cold winter this year, I exercised less and ate more. By spring, I was still in my size 4's, but it was a snug fit, and I definitely had the muffin top. There were clothes in my closet I no longer wore because they didn't fit right. |

Recently, I had the pleasure of taking my PSYCH-K training in Ottawa with Maureen Koropeski. I was drawn to the practice after reading Dr. Bruce Lipton's book, The Biology of Belief. Dr. Lipton writes about epigenetics, the science that illustrates how our very DNA is affected by the power of human thought. He concludes his book with a chapter on PSYCH-K, touting it as the process by which the body, mind and life of a human can be transformed. I was intrigued.
We all want to grow, move forward in our lives, and overcome our limitations. |

When people take my Channeling Healing Energy workshops, it's always a beautiful thing to see the surprise on their faces when they realize for the first time that they can feel someone walk into their energy field - and that they can feel it happening more than 10 feet away from their body.
With little difficulty, most people can learn to tune into the subtle shifts in their field caused by the influence of others. The more sensitive in the group even report a feeling of pressure against them and more rapid breathing as they feel the person approach - even though their eyes are closed during the exercise. |

Recently, I was at a movie theatre with a friend, where we found ourselves playing musical chairs. As people took their seats, we kept encountering movie-goers wearing scent. Both of us being sensitive to scented products, we moved seats three times until we found a spot far enough away from the perfumes in the room.
In my case, the chemicals in scented products give me headaches and cause my lungs to react. I also notice that I begin to feel angry that my space has been invaded and my health compromised by people who are using perfume or smoking. |
