
It was March 2011 when I stepped on the scales and realized with a sinking feeling that I was putting weight on I had successfully kept off for two years.
When I turned 45, I decided to drop the 30 extra pounds my frame was carrying. Using an exercise and diet program, I went from a size 10 to a size 4 in 5 months.
With the long, cold winter this year, I exercised less and ate more. By spring, I was still in my size 4's, but it was a snug fit, and I definitely had the muffin top. There were clothes in my closet I no longer wore because they didn't fit right.
At the same time that I came to this realization, I was taking my training in PSYCH-K. I decided to apply the principles, recognizing as Dr. Bruce Lipton indicated in his book "The Biology of Belief", that my DNA will correspond with the beliefs my subconscious holds about my body.
So, I input the belief "I weigh 135 pounds", since the subconscious always works in the present tense, knowing that my body would gradually conform to this belief.
It is now May 2011 and the muffin top is gone. My body fat has dropped from over 30 percent to just over 26 percent (25 percent is ideal for a woman in midlife).
I am a few pounds away from my ideal weight, and yet my body is exactly as I want it to be.
